Technologies that can improve consistency, while also saving you time and money.

Link Translation offers a number of powerful functions that enable you to reuse previous translations with translation memories technology. Machine translation also offers translation reuse.

Translation Memory

Translation memories are collections of matching source and target sentences or text segments. All the work a translator does while working with Link Translation is stored in a translation memory. Then, when a similar sentence shows up, or the same or another translator translates a similar document, or an update of the previously translated document, they see and can quickly use the previous translation of identical or similar source sentences.

Link Translation employs highly efficient algorithms for matching the document to be translated with segments in the translation memory. Aside from significant time and costs savings, this also helps to improve the quality of the final translation. Reports can show you the productivity gain from using translation memories both in an individual setting, before translation, and in a collaborative setting, after translation, detailed by translators.

Collaboration

We can divide projects and documents between translators, allowing translators and reviewers to work in a crowdsourced mode.

Terminology Management

Terminology entries can be customized, terms linked with each other and discussed, and all changes to the term base are audited, so a change history can be accessed at any time. No matter which terminology module you are using, we can import glossaries and term bases from Microsoft Excel, CSV, TBX or MultiTerm XML formats.

Real-time search functionality

Easily check the meaning, translation or approved style of a word or phrase in real time as you read, write or translate.

Customize and restore settings

Customize the settings for multiple terminology environments and save them to use again at the click of a button.

Scalability and integration

Build multiple glossaries and access them from within our platform.
